Part Supply List

For my website I am going to begin assembling a list of online and offline locations that have decent prices for our field. If you have a website or store that you know of please leave the URL or store name. I am trying to simplify the process of tracking stuff down so when people come asking for parts they could just read a sticky or get linked to what I am about to compile. Just trying to help the new guys out

bflsupply.com- Source of cheap embarco compressors
onlinemetals.com- copper bar stock for evaps
Ferguson-good hardware store, find one near you w/ their store locator
Home Depot- good source of insulation materials and random bits and pieces
Advanced PC Cooling- Specialized Computer Phase Cooling Website located in Australia
Ebay Stores- Check both these stores and ebay itself.
UNDER THE ICE - RunMC's Dedicated phase cooler store
THE REFRIGERANT STORE- based out of Colorado, must be certified
cableorganizer.com- for all your sleeving, heat shrinking, and twisty tying needs
hvactool.com- general HVAC website, linked to their stainless steel flexline for the great deal
Frosty-Freeze Ebay A/C Store- Seems like a permanent resident of ebay
FlexEJ- source of flexible steel hose, great for suction lines in the UK
Tecnologic Uk-source of refrigeration controllers and relays in the UK
Rab Direct- source of refrigerants in the UK
BES Ltd- source of insulation, look under their refrigeration, more stuff from the UK
MetalsontheWeb- source of copper bar stock in the UK
South Side Control Supply Co. - another general A/C store
Overklokk.no - Norwegian custom phase cooling store
keep the links coming, will be organizing this list soon

I'll start with my ebay list from OCF.

Quote:
I'll start this up with a few I've bid on very recently

http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Copper-Accumul...QQcmdZViewItem
$2 suction copper accumulator, oh yeah! Great for more than just an accumulator just think bout it! :santa:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rechi-Refrigerat...QQcmdZViewItem
Rechi 1/4 hp or so rotary compressor, the good deal? He accepts $5 a compressor and after shipping ripouts its $40 for two, so $20 shipped a peice by pair for not so loud, but quite nice rotarys.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tecumseh-AZA0395...QQcmdZViewItem
Weekly 1/5hp silent tecumseh compressors, so far I've heard these will run off of a 15-20mfd run capacitor. Nice-ness! (Always a new auction after the last one ends, makes me think this guys got a lot, maybe message to buy multiples? Just dont buy em all or I'll come after you! )

http://cgi.ebay.com/Refrigeration-Re...QQcmdZViewItem
Same seller as above, these make good chiller HX's and theres lots of em for sale, warning they generally go up to 12.50 on the bid

http://cgi.ebay.com/Blissfield-Conde...QQcmdZViewItem
Solid steel construction condensers, named Condensor instead of er and hardly gets bought. Also remember yuo'll need flux and 45% silver to braze to the steel. Good capacity for there size, could handle a 1/2hp compressor nicely.

http://cgi.ebay.com/1-4-OD-Refrig-Co...QQcmdZViewItem
Cheap access valves!

http://cgi.ebay.com/1-4-Tube-with-1-...QQcmdZViewItem
Tee based cheap access valves!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Drier-Solder-Con...QQcmdZViewItem
Large filters w/o access valves!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Copper-Drier-for...QQcmdZViewItem
Normal spun filters w/ access valves!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Copper-Strainer-...QQcmdZViewItem
Strainers for under $5.

http://cgi.ebay.com/BPV31-3-in-1-lin...QQcmdZViewItem
OOooooh, vamp clamp! :}

http://cgi.ebay.com/Refrigeration-Sy...QQcmdZViewItem
.028 cap tubing, 10ft, can anyone say woot?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Refrigeration-Sy...QQcmdZViewItem
.031 cap tubing, 10ft, :drool

http://cgi.ebay.com/Ritchie-Engineer...QQcmdZViewItem
HERE"S A BIGGIE, REALLY CHEAP TESTING THERMOMETER!

http://cgi.ebay.com/A-C-Gauge-Low-Si...QQcmdZViewItem
Low side gauges for cheapz!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pro-S...5913QQtcZphoto
Heh why not? High Pressure gauges, r410a r22 marked.

http://cgi.ebay.com/AC-HIGH-PRESSURE...QQcmdZViewItem
High pressure cut-off system? I think so! Safety first people, (I may gnab 2 of these)

Are these ebay stores as in they will be around 3 months from now? Trying to assemble a list that'll be here for months to come. Clicked through a few of them and I was suprised with what I saw, nice stuff.

I've been meaning to do such things. Especially among us builders or some of us have parts business on the side that could help you finding more specific to our stuff... I will talk to Fugger to see if it is considered XS related sites. I mean... I see no reason why not... since most of us hang around here.
Now, keep the list growing

This place has a lot of good stuff... check out this deal on ss braided suction line..http://www.hvactool.com/catalog.php3...&fsearch=85236

This is a good place to get the braided sleeving to go outside the insulation on suction lines, lots of colors including UV... http://cableorganizer.com/braided-sleeving/

Here is a decent place to buy refrigerant if you are certified http://www.r22.org/

I'd like to see places to buy insulating materials and unbraided flex lines in bulk or raw form.

Adding, if people can find me links and locations then I can add them. Once the list grows a little bit I will start breaking it up into different topics such as tubing, general stores, compressors, etc.

BTW, the $2 accummulators are very good for other uses, like expansion tanks... I'm going to cut one open to figure out exact plumbing for other uses (phase seps? :P)

Something that is temporarily. If you noticed, this stuff... they got it from surplus. They have limited stock in hand really and it will burn out sooner or later. Keep in mind people will look for things down 3-6 months later and lot of stuff you listed won't be there.

In regards to all the ebay stuff, I only listed a search for refrigeration within the ebay stores so when someone comes looking they'll get a few pages of stuff to search through. More updates in a few seconds.

Very nice initiative gomeler, and nice to see you here as well. Your guide over at gomeler.com really helped me figure out the basics of building an SS.

Yep, you pretty much got it all, except Overklokk's shop: www.overklokk.no. There you can buy SS's, cascades, parts for SS's and some more.
