Push/pull with two (very) different fans?
Technically this is a watercooling question, but it mostly deals with fans, so I figured I'd ask here.
Wondering if a push/pull design with two very different fans would be worth anything...the fan I'm planning to push with has more CFM out through the rad than the pull fan has total (I put my face on the rad and measure that way, much more accurate than hands it seems).
The push fan would be ~100CFM (at peak, it won't always run that fast) and the pulls are around 60CFM if I had to guess (unrated, came with my PC-7B+).
I have these fans lying around and I'm really not sure what to do with them

So these fans would be on opposite sides or the same rad? If that's what you meant, I wouldn't do it. Having an extra fan will cause more interference than anything else, especially with the fast one blowing into the slow one.

let the 60cfm push and use the 100cfm to pull, IIRC its better that way (from my Shuttle day)

Yes, smaller to push, larger to pull.

Gosh, it'd be hard to calculate what cfm a pulling fan needs to move to be worth it. It'd have to be moving air better than with no fan. If it actually moves less air than what is coming out of the rad with only one fan, it's not worth it.
