I think that the easiest Vdimm mod to do would be the Vdimm=Vio mod, where the Vdimm voltage will exactly equal your 3.3v line. Vtt appears to follow with this mod, so you won't have to do a Vtt mod. There should be lots of threads about the mod on the forums.

All the slots will have 3.3 V, it is really simple Vmod, it took me 5 minutes to do it .

But probably your PSU must have a 3,3V sense wire. Without that, mod won't working.

    So just follow yellow line:
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...chmentid=15518

Vdd booster does nothing, and mod works without it.

40w is not too much for PCB soldering.. just don't stick it right on the board or anything.

long time ago have got a psu ("megabajt") without 3.3sens wire and mod work`s fine, now it`s frayed, but maybe can find another... and check again or i will just cut that sens wire :]

it gives some xtra power to Vdd, it links 5V trace in pcb.

I did that mod that's linked to (only yellow line) a couple of days ago and it didn't help me anything at all. The voltage did change but I could neither get a higher FSB nor tighter timings (I was getting 238 FSB without the mod already tho but was hoping to get it stable and higher with the mod).

So I'm gonna have to order some resistors and heatsinks and do some more modding. I suspect the NB is holding me back. I hate not having an electronics store within a radius of like 100 km.

Anyway, just wanted to warn you so you don't get disappointed like I did. Good luck and let us (me ) know how it worked for you
