    3500+ winchester + msi sli platinum+ mach 2 = No Go

    specs:

    3500+ winchester 0451 apmw
    msi k8n sli platinum
    mach 2 gt


    de cpu wont boot when it reaches subzero temp's
    is this aproblem with the msi board ? or is this the famous winchester temp bug ?


    does anyone know a solve for this problem ?

    ya cant really solve it , it's a known bug! It's writen a lot of it here.

    I had tried a Winnie 3000+ under a VapoLS with MSI K8N Platinum
    No luck

    Swap my FX53 onto the MSI K8N Platinum
    No problem running it

    Tried the same Winnie 3000+ under a VapoLS with Abit AV8Pro
    No luck

    Swap it with my FX53 onto the Abit AV8Pro
    Here it run again

    No problem running my previous Newcastle 754 @ -55c
    As for Newcastle 939 u will run fine as well

    i have aslo tryed in aasus a8n sli deluxe

    won't work also

    My 3000+ winnie with MSI Neo4 7125 under prometeia R507 works!

    Its bootable and primestable in windows.

    Some say its mobo thing, cause several people say DFI solfd the problem...
    I still don't know for 100%.

    it sure is my cpu because it had already failed in 2 mobo's :P
