    Safe 990fx Board Limits

Ok picked up a Asrock Fatal1ty Pro board and started playing with it. This damn thing seems like it is built well and ready for some heavy duty overclocking. This is what I have running right now out of the box with a 1100T. All voltages are at stock except for Vcore at 1.45 in bios and CPU NB voltage at 1.235 (default CPU NB was 1.175)

My question is how is this for a start?

What are voltage limits for NB voltage, HT Voltage, CPU NB Voltage, and I believe Vcore limits are about 1.55. If you look at my NB speed and HT speed they are just shy of 3000Mhz. This is with HT voltage at default and NB voltage at default. Is there any sense in even messing with the NB voltage or HT voltage if they are already running so high?

My memory is running at 1960Mhz with no problems. I have up to 2133Mhz since it is g skill 2133 ripjaws.

Also if I am wanting to get my FSB speed of 245 up higher to get my memory running at full speed which voltages are related directly to the FSB speed. Appreciate all help. Either way this board runs smooth.

I'm curious to know what BIOS you are using? Did you update the to the current or are you using the 1.00 or 1.10 that the board shipped with?

I had much better OC's with my 1090t with the shipping BIOS (1.00) than I did with the newer versions, don't ask me why but I was never able to get the chip above 3.9 when I had the chip running an easy 4.1 earlier?

Using 1.47. It came with 1.20. But overclocking was not as smooth as with 1.47. Personally didnt get to try the first ones.. but since the 1.47 is giving these results I'm not complaining.

Any info on the voltage limits that we should not go over for the nb, cpu nb, and HT voltage?

Dont you get less FPS in games with HTT over 2GHz? And the higher you go on it the less FPS? No point in having it at 3GHz then.

Not true High HT(2600) and Pci-e @ around 111 improves performance when using x-fire, raid and all mem slots as well.
