    GTX 580 review - techpowerup

    This review got taken down, but here's the results

    Don't worry guys, i'm s**t at games but I have 500fps!

    TechPowerUp is a fairly trustworthy site as far as non hyped, don't sell your soul for free stuff reviews. I'm impressed with what they show for single GPU performance but looks like Nvidia has some driver tweaking to do to get SLI performance up.

    The vapor chamber cooler and quiet operation make this one much more impressive though than I thought the 512 core Fermi would be. Power consumption should be fairly low with the drop in heat too. It's beginning to look a lot like a green Christmas for me.

    And so, I expected more from the video card ... even in SLI mode, nothing outstanding there
