After all the time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears TECs are just not worth it. As the OP will no doubt eventually see. I tore my TEC system down last year after about 10 months of operation. These cool it systems never seem to work out for some reason (maybe the cheap powered TECs, overpriced, condensation, work/performance ratio). There are quite of few of these systems in the TEC section that have only marginal performance for all the work involved. Hopefully this build will prove to be worth while.
    Current: AMD Threadripper 1950X @ 4.2GHz / EK Supremacy/ 360 EK Rad, EK-DBAY D5 PWM, 32GB G.Skill 3000MHz DDR4, AMD Vega 64 Wave, Samsung nVME SSDs
    Prior Build: Core i7 7700K @ 4.9GHz / Apogee XT/120.2 Magicool rad, 16GB G.Skill 3000MHz DDR4, AMD Saphire rx580 8GB, Samsung 850 Pro SSD

    Intel 4.5GHz LinX Stable Club

I understand your doubts but I've tested this system and it works well... I'm sure you remember my last build / according to the person who owns it now - It's more than effective for OC'ing. This is a customizable system that will allow you to adjust / disable TEC's as needed which will maximize your performance. All and all I'm building this for the enjoyment / trying to avoid your typical every day build.

Note: I would not call this your typical coolit system because every part has been modified....

That's true so I think you will have some interesting results. I was over generalizing a lot of the TEC work, and didn't mean to sound so critical of your build. I am really looking forward to see what you can do with this.

You don't see too many TEC or phase change builds that are as clean and neat as this one...

Thanks... I'm making every effort to hide as many wires / use as little tubing as possible. It's nice to have a pedestal with dual PSU's because it allows you to minimize the wires needed for your main compartment.

Made some additonal progress / more photos soon.....

Fantastic job putting this all together.

The pics are nice - a little on the yellowish side on my monitor (not sure if that's a white balance adjustment needed, or the warm-glow-look you were going for after the 2nd bottle of wine )

lol... It's hard to believe but the pictures look great on my laptop and I was going for the warm glow. Unfortunately they do look a little yellow on my other monitor / maybe I'll adjust them later...

I purchased some Japanese spec wire today to replace a few of my PSU adaptors ---> LINK <---

    Original PSU Wires:
    18 AWG, Style 1007, 80C, 300V

    Replacement Wire:
    VSF 0.50mm2, 75C, 300V

    JP - Left / US - Right

    US - Left / JP - Right

Seems like the wire I purchased today has less copper inside but the strand counts the same.

    Any Ideas?

To match 18AWG, the wire's cross sectional area should be 0.823mm^2 so the 0.75 would have been the best option to match it.

A search on some random webpage for some generic 0.5mm^2 cable says it's rated to 11A.

According to a search, 6 pin PCI-E connectors are rated for up to 75Watts and have three conductors for each polarity. 75 / 12 / 3 ~= 2A so even the smaller wire should be far more than what's needed.
