    Here a 1gb gtx cost 180 or 360 pounds for two vs 520 pounds for a 5970.

    With only a ten percent performance delta, it doesn't justify anything greater than 100 pounds in price difference.
    Google shopping;

    Cheapest respectable brand 460 1GB; £187x2 = £374

    Cheapest respectable brand 5970; £476

    Remember, its TWO 460 1GB cards that come close to matching the performance of one 5970. In this scenario I'd much rather spend +£100, get the 5970 and OC that.
