    Asus R3E 250 mhz blck

Got a chance to play with the Asus flagship on ln2 last weekend together with most of the OCTeamDenmark crew.

    Pics here:

    http://www.octeamdenmark.com/news/1-...-i-grenaa.html

    Setup:

    -Asus R3E bios 0534
    -Intel Core I7 920
    -G.Skill Trident 2000 mhz 3x2 gb
    -Sapphire HD5770
    -Nexus Rx 1kw
    -Nanok Ln2 pot

We had some problems getting over 224 mhz blck in the beginning but the latest beta bios took care of that problem

I dont have any 2d results other than cpu-z and max blck.

    http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1000390_

Max blck was 255 but i forgot to take a screenshot

    Cpu-z:

    Asus Rampage III Extreme - Intel Core I7 980X - Mushkin Redline 1600 MHz 3*2 gb - Asus GTX580 CU II - Coolermaster Silent Pro 1000 Watt - 2x Samsung Spinpoint F1 750 gb in RAID0

Voltage - The cause and the solution to all our problems

wow looks like they finally found the trick - I have some experiences from different source that starting around 225 you needed to play with the skews to get past 230 but this just looks woooow - need to test that bios asap (can't check for the next 3 days due to work )
