    Special request for Lord Trident

Is it any way possible you could try to help get more support for the current software to be upgraded to windows 7 compatable. I know there is lots of hoops to get quantum panel and the creative xfi package to work on win7.

I know I and lots of others would really appreciate this.

Also BIG thanks for the continued bios support, hope to see a official 32nm bios soon.

I was really close giving up on this board and grabbing a gigabyte ud5. Please help the community, and Im sure the community will support Foxconn.

    +1!!

My X-Fi is still in its packet, and although I have seen Aegis panel working, I believe it should do more than freeze my system every time I try and use it?

My Aegis is fine, but I´m lucky about SW... about X-Fi. Well its certain that you don´t have good enough headphones. I don´t know what all manufacturers with add-on-soundcards want to achieve, but it sux exactly as much as any integrated audio (tough those integrated on ATi cards are actually quite ok.. which leads me, why they are not ok on mobo?).

I remember reading you got it to work by installing it separately with alot of run as compatable with vista sp1. You even had to select the individual core .exe files and run those with compatability. Just to get it to work right.

Compatibility for sp1 has to be used also for the xfi package also.

I think it should just work without any sneaky finger backdoor techniques to make it run.

Also need a lot better x64 compatibility.

As it is you cant upgrade the realtek audio driver, if you upgrade driver the X-FI software wont work anymore. It only works with driver on CD.

Excellent news on the driver dude, thanks very much .

My aegis panel installs no problem, but any change of any value in windows causes an instant hard lock when you click apply. Tried a couple of different versions and no joy so just use bios instead.

Thanks, Can you tell me if the new creative driver will come with a new X-FI install package?

Right now the software and the driver are not win 7 compatible. We could use both upgraded. Especially with x64 support. If the driver is only upgraded the x-fi software will still be only for vista.

Try Fox One instead of Aegis Panel, seems to be more compatible. It works on the Destroyer, at least.
