WR on sempron 140 with GIGABYTE 790X-UD3P,flying high clock

Until recently, to achieve world class results to compete with the top 50, top 20 best overclockers of the world, needed a top-end configuration of components, the price of which amounts to 3-5k U.S. dollars that will agree, not everyone can afford Bencher.

All this was true before the new revision hwbot.org rev3 started, the new rules which make it possible and the system price does not exceed 150-200$ achieve results-level top 5 global level.

Having bought the GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD3P which was originally planned to use 24 / 7, with sempron 140,it has ability to unlock the second core. Nice hardware to home for rest and work).

Later (but as usual, fallen benchers soul ) it was decided to urge percent from Mobo, as an opportunity with a new revision of the hwbot.org, get a global score for the wprime 32m wprime 1024m offset among single-core processors.

And actually tucked 30l nitrogen, made out of particleboard mount for am2/am3, slapped Bostick near-socket. accepted for benching system AMD: crazy: (this was the first experience benching AMD system under liquid nitrogen).

I want to note the way pot HA for production Nick.ua & Vlad_35 which served me faithfully not one Bench session) :

    Testbed:
    GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD3P
    Sempron LE-140
    Crucial 2 * 1024mb D9GMH
    LN2 pot
    Cooler Master 700W PSU

When entering the operating temperature of the system has the following form:

    [img]http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/5610/img1753w.jpg[/ img]

For a start has been verified ability to unlock the second core, which were unsuccessful. Well there is no way.

Next was tested per cent for a maximum clock frequency. Total 5886MHz which is the first place among all the processors sempron 140 and gives hope for excellent results in other competitive applications.

Well step is the hardest, go ahead and an hour and a half get wprime 32m:

    http://www.hwbot.org/community/submi...40_25sec_562ms

World record among the single-core processors is taken 5697MHz frequency and voltage of 1,792 to give a result. : dance:

We go to more, and pass wprime 1024m:

    http://www.hwbot.org/community/submi...min_8sec_546ms

Also, first place in the global standings

At the Bench, it was decided to finish the session and go to put things everyday)).

In the next day because of problems with validation, it was decided once again to urge on little system) but on the advice of cyclone to fix the cooling system 790X chipset.
No sooner said, than done. the ghetto style use ,solution was cooled with liquid nitrogen stock cooling

    actually here:

    Yeah, its true

Cruelly, but xtremelabs.org not give up and goes out of any situation, which confirms the overclocking GIGABYTE 790X-UD3P up to 500 MHz frequency clock generator:

    http://www.hwbot.org/community/submi...x_ud3p_500_mhz

For conquest 500MHz were used the following settings, dwell on the most important:
    NB Frequency - x 7
    HTT - x4
    DRAM timings - CL5
    NB voltage 1.4v
CPU voltage 1.79v (not necessary )

Hyde made a short on a worldwide network to find max clock frequency of motherboards AMD was found the best results in hwbot.org 494MHz that suggests that we have another world record on the test system

These results clearly show how you can earn about 100 global points, the system cost does not exceed 200$

    Enjoy.

    P.S. to be continued...

great score lads, seems for high clocks the DDR2 board is the way to go... DDR3 tops at +/- 5ghz due to HT wall...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
