Ah ok no problem, I thought it was only Large FFT That's an excellent CPU you have there.

Nice, 3845B027 is about the best batch produced so far. Seems our CPUs are virtually identical in vcore requirement for 4GHz, yours requiring only 0.008v more.
Due to your low ambient temp, your chip is running around 15 - 17*C cooler than mine under load.

I have 3923A and I say it is not your nice and friendly batch.

I'm able to reach 4439 MHz with 1.45v on CPU !!!!

I was able to cplete 8 hours of prime95 and 20 runs on LinX but couldn't like the taste of running my CPU 24/7 with that voltage.

I backed off a little and now testing the CPU @ 4305 MHz with 1.35v.

I'll post pics later tonight !

That's not too bad really. There's certainly a lot worse out there.

4.3GHz It tries lightly. 3845B027 doesn't want electricity so much. It is a very good chip. However, it is a hot chip for a moment

Nice work guys. Yeah, mine is very hot also, low VID chips need water cooling to really shine.

Mushkin XP3-15000
Prolimatech Mega Shadow + 2 PF12's

This is my first attempt after building the thing. Not messed with memory timings yet. CPU seems a bit hot. I can boot and enter Win7 at 4515 (21x215) but unstable obviously...

QPI/VTT is at 1.315v. Don't really know what to use for this as i'm new to i7's.

Any suggestions for improvements other then up vcore and pump 4300mhz in ?
