They don't even say what is the distance user can achieve.
    This is very important...

Feser do a variable vid SLI set which gives you 3 different length tubes and the 2 ends. This is the safest bet if you're not sure what the gap you need to cover is or if you intend to re-use in the future on a different setup. Very little price difference too.

so, if information from swiftech is correct http://www.swiftnets.com/assets/imag...-SETUPx800.jpg
distance between EK-FC285 GTX PCB Rev.2=25mm
Because a thickness of swiftech waterblok=15mm, thickness of EK-FC285 GTX PCB Rev.2=16mm
and in picture show that distance between swiftech waterbloks=26mm

    16-15=1
    1/2=0.5
    26-05-05=25

    so distanse is 25mm

    Thank All

The distance between two identical full cover blocks can be found as follows:
measure distance between the two PCI-e slots you're going to use
measure thickness of a water block between opposing fitting flats

subtract thickness of block from the PCI-e slot distance = distance between front and back fitting surface of two identical GPU water blocks

I'm getting 43-45c maximum load here, very happy indeed! didn't use standoffs.

I think these EK Blocks are great, only two major issues though.

the first was how the instructions said in one place to use thermal paste for the RAM and then in another place to use thermal pads, well there wasnt enough thermal pads for the RAM, only the voltage regulators. so i coated the RAM with thermal paste.. mounted the block without standoffs and after numerous attempts the block did not make ANY contact with the RAM (nickel plating?). this made me reuse the thermal pads off my original heatsink.. which made perfect contact thankfully.

the second was one block fit my PALIT 285 GTX 2GB card perfect, and the other didnt fit my GAINWARD 285 GTX 2GB. now I bought the specific blocks required for this, it isn't another "xxx 285gtx block didnt fit my xxx 285gtx card" post. thankfully 20 mintues with a file solved this but potentially ruined the resale value.

im still very much impressed with EK offering probably the widest range of choices for the 285 GTX and its board revision raping otherwise my rig would not of been possible

oh and the Feser SLi Link was used at its shortest setting:

I think RAMs should be coated only a bit (a small drop) to make pads there more adhesive.

That the temp of the water and air in room?

if the temp in room is 27
then temp of water 27+9=36 in You loop
so 43-45 it is anbelivebl temp of GPU in load

here is the filing modification i was talking about, this came out of someone else's build log:

notice the top right corner of the block, and without filing it would foul the small black block in the way.

as for my temps, I dont know the temp of my room, and I dont know the temp of my water, all i know is that with a pair of 285 GTX 2GB's with ek blocks without standoffs using arctic silver 5 with a feser quad rad and 8 fans in push pull and a mcp355 18w with xspc restop with distilled + pt nuked water my load is 45c MAX.

as for the instructions you posted, i've never seen them before, i was sent these : http://81.90.180.2/ekwaterblocks/sho...0046993892.pdf

if you used standoffs try remounting without for better contact and pressure.

i not use standoffs, but problem is not hare.
Problem that block have not 2 screws after mostfets(2 red circle in picture), the 1mm thermal pads is too big for (2+2+2)BIGmosthers(in third line) ,
if use 0.5mm the contact is good, because PCB will not unbend.

i hav not unbent PCB foto(in area first line mostfets) , bat if the need, i do fofo and show
