First the GD65 then the GD70 now this....nice to see them paying attention to AMD again.

Thanks for the link, however I was referring to an updated mod bios for the 790fx GD70 based on the current latest bios. The link you gave me is the old beta bios for the GD70 which I have already played with.

This beta bios was available back in late Feb early March. It does unlock additional cores however its a very early version of the GD70 bios and it has a slew of issues to go with it. Including ram compatibility, POST LED functionality and booting issues amongst them.

I know many of us are waiting for a modded bios based on 1.3 or 1.3b7 or even the possibility of a new 1.4 bios from MSI that has an unlocking mode like what ASUS and Gigabyte have done with their latest bios.

hello, sorry for my bad english i have this mainboard and athlon II 250
do i need to cool down those marked in yelow and green when overclocking CPU? (in english i have no idea how to call it ) and what about NB cooling? Now my CPU is working at (245*15, 1.43V), when i try to reach more it crashes event with all Voltage's increased in bios, i think it's is because my only 420W power supply. And second question: Namegt, maybe you have bios photos with CPU Vdd Voltage, CPU-NB Vdd Voltage, CPU Voltage, CPU-NB Voltage adjusted to this CPU to pass orthos or others test while working at 4-4.5Ghz?

I would like to ask sth,im going to buy this lowend mobo and also a cpu cooler,

the cpu cooler im going to buy is Xigmatek HDT-s1283.HDT-S1283

Does anyone know if i place this cooler,i would have any problem with the memory slots?

Cause i have heard that this cooler isnot compatible with all mobos, and some memory slots cannot be used due to cooler's dimensions.

If anyone is experienced with this cooler and mobo, let me know plz!!!

Ι cannot clock more than 3.650(280x13@1.4875) and the vcore is pretty high compared to other results i have seen.

    PC:

    PSU:SeaSonic Modular M12D-750 PSU (750W)
    CPU:AMD Phenom II X3 720 (sAM3, 2.8 GHz, Cache 7.5MB)
    COOLER:Xigmatek HDT-S1283 Cpu Cooler (CAC-SXHH3-U01)
    MOBO:MSI 770-C45 (SB710-DDR3-καλό OC)
    RAM:Adata 2GB DDR3-1333 Ram Dimm (PC3 10666, 7-7-7-24, AD31333002GMU) X2
    VGA:Sapphire 4890 VAPOR-X SVGA (1GB, PCI Express)

    The cpu is 0906 ΒPMW.

Any idea why i cannot go more than 3.650 and why is it too high the vcore?

I tried higher volts but i couldnt boot.

I've been using the official v1.30 bios on my 770-C45 for over a month with no problems, it even unlocked the two extra cores on my X2-550 BE.
