I think you are going to like it. :-)
BTW, any hints on when we are getting the same new ACC options that the other gigabyte mobo just got?

Soon I need to test something, need to wrap up some loose ends on another board first though.

I just reilized something, if you are on F3B and if you have the warning message due to OCing on start up, it can be skipped by just using Ctrl-Alt-Delete. It doesnt really go away, but you dont have to get in bios and F10. It just restarts with saved bios settings, it is still annoying but hopefully with the new bios we dont ever have to worry about it.

yes, i found anything higher than 11 multi won't boot.

Asus don't even have a higher multi than 11 on the M3a79, so perhaps it's a CPU issue. Does this [UD5P] board have 11+multi?

When running an X3 720 BE on Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P I can use 12x for nb-clock. Only thing I have to do is to raise vnb.

With my X4 955 BE I tried everything between 1.1 and 1.3 volts but I never got a bootscreen with 2.4 ghz nb.

Sounds about right, took them awhile to get NB clocking up to par with the 720's. Will most likely take them a few tries with 955's as well.

I just recently got this board with the Phenom II 955 and I cannot boot into Windows at all with anything at 4Ghz or over. I've tried all different kinds of voltages, none of them worked. And yes, this is the first time I'm overclocking an AMD CPU, been cruising along with overclocking with an E8500 and a Q9650. Help please? I suck at overclocking.

The features on this motherboard is great, but I think the latest BIOS is buggy. Anybody having problems with it? Any news on the upcoming BIOS?

Thank you chew* this guide was a huge help. Mind if I put a link to it on the Phenom II 955 OC thread over at overclock.net?

I honestly just put the gigabyte on the bench and am preppping it for ln2 runs in the very near future.....no time to debug a beta atm, need to use what I know works ( F3L ) or I will be staring at memtest for a week straight.

Only time I ever had a problem with restart from windows is when I was clocked way way to high.
