I am in absolute awe over your work. Simply beautiful. I've always wanted to work with a water-jet but I haven't really looked up who would have one in my area. The things you two (Charles & Nils) have made are definitely inspiring to me. I hope one day to achieve the amount of skill that you have proven to have in building fully customized systems such as MurderBox (OMG).

I can't wait to see what becomes of murderMod.

Thanks for sharing all of the behind the scenes stuff. Nils your workshop is incredible! I had no idea so much came with the case. I recently bought a bunch of screws from McMaster-Carr only to use the few needed for my previous build. It's nice to know that murderMods gives you everything you need to get started and then some.

Bottom line, the quality and attention to detail put into the murderMods builds is priceless!

I've been puting a lot of time into selecting a case for my next build. And I'd have to say that the murdermod case is my favorite so far! Those new pieces are looking great!

Wow - I didn't realise you were already introducing parts for different cases! Once again - top quality work, I can't wait to see what you do next.

Hello, can you tell me how the stealth cover is fixed to the DVD Drive door? Is it just stuck on with double sided tape or mechanically fixed? Thanks.

Hi Snyxxx, sorry for the tardy response.

The stealth door cover is affixed to the optical drive door with 3M VHB two sided tape.

    Workshop Update:

murderShop Canada has a new home. It’s an awesome little space that will be equipped and used for all the custom metal fabrication. It needs lots of work to get up and running but I thought I’d post a few pics beforehand. It came with the table and bits in the back which will likely be moved. The table saw and workmate were brought in to be used to fabricate the main workbench and other stations. I’ll need to replace the lighting and add more power outlets but that should be easy. Nils said he’d create some art for the walls to help give it a warmer vibe and get away from the “concrete murderBunker” look. The coolest thing about this location is actually on the other side of the green door…

Anyway, here are a few “before” pics.

3/4s of the total space – the stuff on the back wall was already there (including a crappy old shopvac that barely sucks - meaning it sucks... err...).

Awesome old drill press - I'll have to keep this!

The table saw is where the main workbench will go…

The workbench will be 36” x 96” which will bring the front edge in line with the outer corner of the concrete wall at the left. The right side of the workbench will be roughly two feet from the vertical pipes which should leave enough room to work on the end if need be.

    The mysterious green door…

What’s behind the green door – anyone care to guess?
