    Nice, especially DDR3-1800 7-6-5-24 with just 1,92 V.
    The Initial value finished

    PI calculation is done!

    did you try more volts?
especially with 655 im curious if you can get more

the heatspreaders look nice... same screw-clamp mechanism we use, seems like everybody is copying it now :P
the heatpipes look nice, can you fit two sticks next to each other or do the heatpipes block each other?
did you take the heatspreaders off? im curious if the heatpipes make direct contact with the memory chips.

I didn't try more Volts today but in the following week I will do this definatly

I can't fit two sticks next to each other the Heatpipes will block.
I didn't remove the HS but from the side you see that the HPs have direct contact to the Chips.

Hmm, it looks like someone goofed up on the SPD there. No worries about the RAM though. We can help you flash the SPD properly if you like.

Damn...kabauterman wish me luck man! you're so * lucky!
    Pretty nice kit there.

    @Andy:
Is it normal to find D9GTR ICs on these kits ?

no kidding you are lucky Kabauterman, those clocks are damn impressive for a PC3-14400 kit let alone a for 'budget' PC3-10666 sticks. nice find and good luck with them...who would have guessed Micron on those guys.
i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

Sheesh, Tony, that was part of their marketing strategy.
Over wise nice memory and heatspreader is looking better than old Reapers due to dual heatpipe and alu fins.

we use a TIM that sets like concrete, if anyone tries to pull the heatspreaders off I almost guarantee you will pull IC's off also.

The heatpipes touch the IC's and yes on some boards you may find the heatspreaders are too thick for the dimms to fit side by side.

We have also released an 8GB kit with the same IC's but featuring standard spreaders for those who like 8GB

Sheesh, Tony, that was part of their marketing strategy.
LOL had to laugh at that one...seriously though I don't talk about Cell shock and I sure don't ask (suggest) their customers break the warranty on their modules.

It seems Tony simply forgot to hide a real Manufacturer ID in the original SPD image from Micron

That is not a reason to worry, because Crucial leaves Micron’s Manufacturer ID sometimes too.

    are you serious?
i'm planning to use 8Gb ReaperX DDR2 on X38 board, cooling with MIPS RAM Freezer, and hope to run them near 1100MHz with 2.1-2.2V.
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...nufacture=MIPS <- this one
so i need to pull the heatspreaders off, and i even agree with loosing warranty.
    what would you recommend?

If you really want to lose your warranty by opening up the HS...you need to remove the screws ( obviously! ) and heat them up with a hair dryer to about 113F/45C and then progressively "remove" the heatspreaders with the help of a flat-head screwdriver...real slow.

Hmmm, sorry to further hijack this thread but I bought the PC2-6400 ReaperX HPC Enhanced Bandwidth 4GB Dual Channel kit over the weekend and was hoping to remove the HS from the modules so I could run the RAM in two slots that are side by side.

Seems I screwed up there if the HS won't come off without ripping the ICs off!
