Talking My second run with E6850 @ dryice 5175mhz

    Setup :

    ASUS P5K-E vcore mod
    E6850 L723B576 @ 1.7V
    Crucial ballistix PC6400
    X1800XT coldbug, died lol

    Picture of the setup:
    SPI 1M @ 5104mhz, untweaked
    Validation at 5175Mhz
My plans were 3D ofcourse but the card had a nasty coldbug, so i popped of the gpu container and remounted the air cooling, that worked fined for a few minutes but it was clear that the card was dieing lol.
I did the quick SPI 1M run first and due some condensation reason i was unable to rerun it at those speeds anyhow 9.9secs is always nice
    AMD fanboy? who?

Nice work. Looks like you have a strong E6850. I wonder how high it can go with ln2.

My E6850 has a low fsb wall at around 510 fsb on air.

I have a strong feeling my ASUS P5K-E is a part of this succesfull clocking...

    Thanks.

Steven some details of those pots now please.

Why are the L723B turning out awesome while the L726B turning out to be duds I tried a running L726B E6850 on P35 DS3 before picking the E6750 to test and it was walled at 468. Bad luck as I got back home and tested the newer E6750 to be walled at 478 on a P35 DS4, stable at only 472. I'm thrown off trying for another now honestly.

    Thanks Steven.

Did you make the pots yourself or get them made? If I have enough time in the upcoming months I might make some.

Will give Abit boards a go and then maybe one of the ASUS. Since I don't buy anything myself, I have to wait before travelling hundreds of miles to pick it up and I don't have the hours free for that at all. I'll probably pick up an E6850 again instead.

I got the same board as you, P5K-E wifi. But we all know every board, even the same model boards clock differently. I just might not have a good one.
