What's with the name calling, and who is discussing Nvidia chipsets? This is an AMD chipset for socket AM2(+), luckily there is nothing Nvidia about it, and it certainly does not have FSB.
On topic: Seems like a really solid chipset/ board so far, 400HTT /1600HT link stable so far, and 40w less power consumption than the Nvidia 570 Ultra.
Me. I referred to the GIGABYTE 680i DQ6 having issues with quad-cores. The 680i chipset is an NVIDIA chipset incase you didn't know
I simply stated that I hope the GIGABYTE 790FX DQ6 doesn't suffer similar issues. A perfectly reasonable statement to make but Mr.Ass jumped at the chance to try to flame me.

Why didn't you ask him "What's with all the slurs?".........are you two married?

Soldner, judging from your sig I have a feeling you getting banned from the AMD threads as well would be a tragedy.

Keep going on this path and that will happen.

    ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sorry did you say something? I can't recall arguing with you or breaking any of the forum rules. Have you taken it upon yourself to try to frighten people into doing what YOU want? I think banning people from threads simply because you have no other way to beat them says it all.

Ban away son, it'll make absolutely no difference to me. I'll simply start all my threads in the main section, or use another account/ip/proxy to view the forum.

You may remove SOLDNER-MOFO64 but you can't remove me

    Something on topic...

I've played with board 3 days now. A bit of OC, a bit of gaming and rest was general use.
This board is ROCK STABLE, thanks to great power distribution it cuts roughly 40W under load compared to MSI K9Neo 4F!! I have twice as much of SATA, FireWire1394A, 3x more PCIe 16x slots, 2x more 1Gb LANs and so on!

    RiG1: Ryzen 7 1700 @4.0GHz 1.39V, Asus X370 Prime, G.Skill RipJaws 2x8GB 3200MHz CL14 Samsung B-die, TuL Vega 56 Stock, Samsung SS805 100GB SLC SDD (OS Drive) + 512GB Evo 850 SSD (2nd OS Drive) + 3TB Seagate + 1TB Seagate, BeQuiet PowerZone 1000W

    RiG2: HTPC AMD A10-7850K APU, 2x8GB Kingstone HyperX 2400C12, AsRock FM2A88M Extreme4+, 128GB SSD + 640GB Samsung 7200, LG Blu-ray Recorder, Thermaltake BACH, Hiper 4M880 880W PSU

Nice. What's the OC like you're getting? Same, better, worse? Have you tried 1066mhz divider yet? what are the voltage options for vcore/vdimm? What's the max selectable pci-e mhz? does the chipset get warm whilst benching/gaming? How are you measuring the chipset power usage....Sandra?

    thanx in advance.

OC I'm getting is better. On MSI I could do stable 3440MHz and 3500MHz just for Mark and couple of other test, on this board I can do 3500MHz rock stable (4 hours of benching) and 3570MHz semi stable... My CPU don't want to scale more on AIR..

With X2 CPU you can't select 1066 divider
You can clock PCIe up to 200MHz!!
    Voltages are almost perfect:
    - CPU up to 1.9V
    - MEM up to +0.5V (with my Crucial I can get 2.432V)
    - HTT, HTR, PCIe, chipset and couple of others are adjustable between +0.4V to +0.5V

Chipset when overclocked is warm mostly due to PWMs but still you can easily hold heatpipe by hand... (we are speaking about X2 90nm 3500MHz@1.5V so around 150W!!)

I was measuring by KillAWatt and compared to my previous rig consumption during 3DM06....

And now to show that board is CF capable:

Don't know how it compares to other AMD systems but this is fastest on ORB!
