I finally got to casing my unit and wiring it up. Im out of controllers so I built the unit into a alu powdercoated case with 16x2 LCD cutout and power in and out as used by G-Froster and Unseen's controllers.

Im going to sell it anyways so the customer can buy a controller and fit it if he wants by simply removing the switch and replacing it with the LCD.

Here is the pics, tomorrow I will post some results:

The white foam bricks push on the evap as they are pushed on by the mount, like a vapochill.

If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.

    Thanks everyone

@ Dimas, yes Alluminium (Lian Li drive bay cover)

@ Duniek. That foam is not ordinary foam, its very hard almost like wood. It was made for me by Jinu117 on his CNC Mill. It does not crush atall, I think it can take +- 50kg's of pressure per square inch. Its really awesome stuff, we were looking for a really long time to find the correct material because the original material (Polifan) was too soft and started losing shape.

Brett, I did build this unit for myself and used it also for a week or two. It really runs incredible, but to be really honest Im not much of an overclocker. The most I do on my PC is surf the net, run some charting applications and use it for watching movies and listening to music. Furthermore my PC is about 3 feet from my bed and although this unit is about as silent as it gets, its still not a scythe infinity I did enjoy the time I used it alot, the overclocks was great. I got 4.2 out of my conroe where I get around 3.5 now with my Infinity before it overheats but 3.5 is more than sufficient for me. Even the CPU at stock speed is sufficient for me.

Surely someone else that is passionate about overclocking can enjoy this alot more, especially someone with a quad core. This unit was built purely for quad core period. When I post some temps later you will see what i mean. Tuned to hold the best temp at around 200w she still holds a 150w load temp better than any NL11f unit I have built. But the magic starts when you pump 200w+ through this evap. In this heat range this compressor makes a NL11f look weak. On 230w this unit holds about 8-10c colder than a NL11f unit. I think besides the compressor being very impressive, the condensor in this machine makes a massive difference also. Its a monster prototype rifle tubed coil, I dont think there is any condensor of this size that can match its performance.

    Thanks

My evap suction lines are a little longer than the usual and will be fine for the stacker with the extra psu at the bottom. The bigger problem is the length of the phase case, its 10cm shorter than a stacker... I suppose one can modify it sligthly or just add some kind of extension to the back or simply make it hang over a little.

If you look in post 1 of this thread, "Vision" has a stacker length case (59cm) but it is not something I keep in stock, I get them made 1 off that way.

I would suggest a Lian Li, It fits perfectly and looks great. I will take some pics of mine tomorrow.

Hey Alan, I bougth my Voltcraft from http://www1.uk.conrad.com/scripts/wg...&scrwidth=1024. They are European and shipping takes about 1 week but its worth it. Just get a k101 or k102, great meters.

Fatty, yeah the braid looks great, damn I think I have 6 colors here. If you need some let me know, I have a 50 metres if Im not mistaken.
