burned bios chip

i have a dfi infinity,nf2 chipset....well,i bought new OCZ psu,and connect to my board,when i started a computer,i felt strange smell,i immediatly shut down computer,and try to find out from where that smell is...i started comp again,and it smells but i was able to get in windows....i wrote some seminars for colledge and surf...i was verry suspisios and go to bios to see some vcore,vdimm etc...it seems to be oke,so i went out without saving,and cant boot anymore...try clrCMOS,but nothing,i start computer but after 3 sec it shuts down...same as when i put jumper to clrCMOS...so i get mbo out from case and have nothing to see...try new cpu,ram,vga,but still nothing...today i look again on mbo and i have on my bios chip 3x3mm a red coloured "something" and it smells like burned...now i have question,i had a tictac bios almost a year on this mbo and works perfectly,i want to know can "they" find out what bios was on chip when it is burned?tnx...i will RMA mbo,i have a one monht warranty still,11 months old mbo..tnx(sry for english,i have a problems with tenses)
