We all love unobstructed connectors.
However if you have an 8Pin, why the hell is there a molex?

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was
They should keep that simple.![]()

What is the purpose of the HDMI port? I know what HDMI is for but how does it work on a board that doesnt have onboard GFX?

a lot of place for insulation![]()
Think they labeled it wrong. It doesnt say "HDMI port." Just says "HDMI Header." I'm guessing its a HDMI audio "header." Pretty sure those are standard audio internal connectors. So thats just the port you connect your HDMI video card to so you can pass audio as well as video through HDMI...Originally Posted by dmce

when is this to be expected?
If u have a descent psu u don't need any molex connectors.
To be honest i didn't expect to see that again. Asus used it in the early SLI days.

Meh, they look solid (better than most). If not, replace with active.Originally Posted by thunderstruck!

It's also not exactly the boards it's cracked up to be, I'm fairly dissapointed in mine. You can bet your arsey that when the IN9 drops, I'll be the first in line to get it so I can replaced this AW9D-MAX. I just picked up a new Vapo LS last night as well, and the AW9D's lack of solid FSB above about 420 really torques my jaw.Originally Posted by Bryants97240sx
When's the launch date on this thing anyhow?
And a comment on the heatpipes, they look really good actually. A lot of nice thin copper fins and plenty of surface area. I imagine this stock cooling solution does the job very nicely.
