    Andre,

Is your P5B board modded? What voltage did you have to feed it to get 3600 stable?

    Nice overclock............

I'd love to know if these Xeons generally OC better than their "regular" counterparts. Would be sweet to get more results or your thoughts Andre.

Well, on Newegg the Xeons have the "Standard" warranty as opposed to the "CPU" warranty.

This of course means that a Xeon is covered for replacement for up to a full year as opposed to only 30 days.

So for the extra $20.00 I'd say getting the Xeon is worth it.

Newegg is listing incorrect information. Intel shows both 4m and 2m from various links.

From Andre and another XS member, the 3040 and 3050 have 2m L2 Cache. That's all the proof I need.

Intel White docs say they have 2mb like the E63/400's do. Spec finder and newegg are wrong.

Will do. Even if the Xeons clock exactly the same, the 1-year replacement warranty compared to a C2D's 30 day one still make them a better buy.

I'm dual orthosing atm at 1.57vcore@ 450x8 on my e6400 retail. (l624a847) for some reason after 3500 it just starts eating up the vcore. so him at 3600 at 1.47vcore seems good to me.
