    @AndreYang,

Could you please check if it is the same onboard NIC controller as on P5WDG2-WS board?
I canΒ΄t get the onboard NIC to work. Windows wonΒ΄t find it. No NIC in Device Manager either.

For those asking for VRM zone for older version's mod to support conroe:

There is no older version of this mobo, this is not a new revision of the P5WDG2-WS, it's another whole mobo. As for the P5WD2-E to support conroe, The Stilt already modded one, he just needs a good bios, he asked asus for one good bios, they didnt give him one, afaik.

    Regards!

The Asus P5WDG2 WS was very pricey. What did you expect for the pro version ?

    4 X PCI-E?? hmmm
i hope they added some pci-e x1/x4 slots
    and didn't remove those pci-x....

    imho
that was the only thing seperating this board from the rest...

    plz don't keep us waiting...

    edit:

i guess it's gonna look something like the AM2 cousin?
so basically we have two extra pci-e's
and one pci 32-33 slot less...
(Damn those Creative dudes...when do the plan on releasing a pci-e Xfi...)

These premium top end boards are soo tightly packed!
    e-atx eventually?

I wonder if we will see an onboard quad sas/sata controller with cache.
Would go very well with conroe/kentsfield and multi gpu's.

Thats what I'm aiming for too, a balance of performance/workstation. Areca 1210 is where is at! I dont really care for SLI anyway or quad, the 7950 is plenty of power for now. I'm hoping motherboard manufactures will start putting in 3 PCI-E soon like the Gigabyte GA-M59SLI.

Just saw that P5W64 WS Pro posted. Thats what I'm talking about!
