    4 cores and 4GB DDR2...now we're moving

    Intel "Kentsfield" dual E6700 ES (B0 stepping) @ 3.0Ghz
    Stock Intel Heatsink, Stock volts
    Asus P5W DH Deluxe MB w/BIOS 0065
4x1GB OCZ DDR2 PC-8000 Platinum Extreme Edition XTC

timings suck and frequency could use a 4:5 divider. just showing proof of concept here. this baby goes under phase this weekend with a CF setup.

    Let those heatsinks breath!!!

What is the 3dmark06 cpu score with it? Sounds like it will be insane.

It's interesting to see how the new asus m/b works with Kentsfield.
fcg do you have any m/b with 965 chipset to try?I'm curious if it supports quad..

Maybe you need some UL stuff.

Well, now that I see that Kentsfield works on an ASUS 975X, will the ASUS P5B-Deluxe 965P be able to support Kentsfield as well?

Oh Boy! Even if it is just "proof of concept" and there won't be a lot of practical gains (outside of Cinebench) it looks like a lot of fun! Looking forward to seeing what will be the first barrier to the OC. Are the temp sensors okay on this mobo?

BTW - I'm warming up to this mobo after seeing Gochin's SLI runs. FSB might not be super great, but it seems like an easy mobo to live with if you're just transitioning to a Conroe game rig.

    Hey FreeCableGuy. nice OC
    How about some temps? Load\Idle?
Also I'd be thankful if you use Core Temp as well, and post some screenshots.
