I suspect the ETA's listed are pretty accurate since Intel will obviously start stocking the channel prior to the official release data. I'm pretty sure the official release data is when Intel wants the PC OEM's to start showcasing their new Core 2 Duo systems.

I know Buy.com is simply a store front to Ingram Micro so I suspect a Conroe order would get drop shipped once Ingram recieves inventory which looks like it's around July 5.

Sounds pretty logical to me !
