my poor mans system.
my sandy. poor thing was coldbuged to hell. shame it died. could have gotten it much thuther it i had tried some more.
now im using this chiller on my 165. my chiller is capable of much more, its just ive hit the limit to the memory controler on this chip. max stable ive got is 3160mhz. anything above this and all i get is memory codes on the BSOD's.
got this out of it though.![]()
oh yes. ram capable of 279mhz on 2-3-3-5 and 275 on 1.5-3-3-0.
and stable it what ever you want to make of it. i keep mine in a case because id step on it if it wernt in a case.
Really Nice Hardware Killer
Glad to see you post over here Ncc-1709.. you've def. got the balls to be considered an Xtreme Member..
even if you have parkinsons![]()
lol. saying that... i just tried 1.9v setting on smartspeed, to ry and get this 165 stable at 3200mhz, and it fliped out. shut down about 9 secs into a sisoft test.
well AQM3 has gona a but quiet at the moment. too many people waiting on new hardware to bench, and very little to chat about.
Some updated pics:

That is crazy. What voltage do you have on your RAM, I'd like to clock my RAM up there too as I have a feeling 800MHz isn't really stressing it.
I better keep my core at 700 tho, load's in the low 70's in my Lanboy with the side panel on. I might have to take my side panel off when summer approaches, though.

Yes, i can find better, but I'm not about spending money until i know the money is well spent...unless it's on real hardware. By using zipties, i have been given the chance to see if the idea was even feasible...which it is.Originally Posted by Pisu87
