Why? Gpu should be good to 115c or so. Seriously. Throw it under some water and enjoy 30c temps if it worries you that much. For real, man.
Don't get me wrong, I'm actually thrilled that it only hit's 82c under load. The x1950 that it replaced would hit 97c while gaming...but I'm just not comfortable with the thing radiating 180f of heat into my PC throughout the day at 0% GPU activity. It's bringing the ambient temps of my case way up, and that can't be good for the other weaker components.
