please keep this thread on topic yadda yadda yadda, here is the week5 discussion thread

P.S thx a lot again to ugly n grey for taking care of things when i was gone

Damn, what is the WR for a single 6600GT. I can't sort single vs SLI on the ORB
Anyway, best run so far: 4888

Then again, I much prefer this (Will I break 4K? Ha, probably not)

Oh, and all these runs, as well as all the others, are ran on a bogged down, 9 month old XP install... (Cos I'm lazy, and can't be bothered to clean install & Dual boot 2K & XP)

I notice that Dual monitor will lower my 3Dmark scores.
My recently posted 3Dmark03 scores is not the higest I can get, but knowing that the 3dmark03 race is over, I cant do anything about it.

Even though I haven't participated the past two weeks....here's my score: 9373. Turns out all my scores are null and void anyway....I said I was gonna use Redline and I used my 4800LAs (because half my Redline busted...both sticks are currently at Mushkin for some testing and RMA action). These are also with non-FM approved drivers....three counts of "my score doesn't count,"

Anyway, I desperately need to do a vmod...the core's load temp is low, the card runs cool to the touch and I gained almost nothing from going to watercooling. Gotta wait till I get to school though...ugh.

Well I got a good run Sunday..... but I have a problem Futuremark is reporting my drivers as "non-approved" The thing is, I'm using the same drivers I used in week 1, the 5.6 cats... FM even shows my driver version as 6.14.10.6542 (cat 5.6). I don't understand why this happend, my only idea is that this is on windows 2k3 with all uneeded services disabled and maybe one of the services is needed to report the drivers as certified???? Take a look at my comparison and it doesn't even show an operating system??? Anyway.... I'm not sure what to do, I ran the bench using approved drivers in the proper time frame and now it looks like they don't count. With the forum being down, I haven't been able to contact saaya to see what I can do, or if this run will count.
