This is good to hear, a friend of mine picked up this board and we are trying to get 8GB (four slots) running at 1066. I know most likely only two dimms at 1066 are supported, but figured we'd try.

anybody try the gigabyte bios yet?... or am I the only owner?
I just flashed the Giga F1B and so far I noticed it has detection of EPP ram. Auto set my G.Skill 1066. Haven't dug around the rest yet.

Heres a link Zip, I've found that it comes and goes though...
Sometimes you can get it and other times you can't. Still not much there other than a Flash Utility and some manuals..

Thanks Bingo, NB Multi is definetly working now and I can get the HTT Ref clock up around 230 without any problems. I don't ussually OC the PCI-e bus or run CAS4 1T mem so I can't comment on those.

As for ACC working, it's definetly doing something now but it isn't helping my OC at all. In fact I can't even get the chip to clock as well as it did on the K9A2!
Seems strange... Maybe my 9850 is just a dog.

On the 1066 memory front, I'm running G.Skill DDR2 8000(1000Mhz). After alot of testing it seems it actually ran 1066 mode better under "0204" than it does under "0304". This memory is actually pretty decent stuff, I had no problem hitting 1150Mhz (@2.1v) on the K9A2 stable.

Oh well, waiting on the next spin..

Geez, wish I could find a 790GX board to buy. I want the Gigabyte (everyone is sold out) or the DFI, apparently on the boat over from Taiwan.

New Beta BIOS for the ASUS M3A78T - As always, use at your own risk and no support provided by ASUS. I would like some feedback on it please, so far, several problems from 0304 are fixed, but still testing a couple of gray areas.
