using a PA140.X could eliminate the need for a second loop in some cases, I would like to think.

Given the surface area, even with 120mm fans and adapters so as to not have to buy 140mm fans...............

    Is this to far fetched?

I like a lot the idea, and probably if they end up in production the reason to start a new rig. For a long time I was thinking in building my own PA160 shroud to use 140mm fans in them. The downside is the lack of really interesting 140mm fans.

I might eventually by one, if released. My Stacker can definitely fit it, but until my MCR-320 isn't sufficient i'd be hard pressed to upgrade.

That will be a monster. I wonder if we can get Ben at Mountain Mods to make the new UFO capable of holding them? I guess it would not be a cube but something like...

It would be perfect for most cases, I would like to get one or two 140.2 or 140.3 for the floor of a case

I'd only buy one if MMs designed a case that would accommodate it without modifications. It would also have to be significantly quieter than my P120.3 in order to justify spending the money on a new case/rad.

I would have bought one yesterday if I could. I can't wait until Thermochill starts making a PA140.x series. But what I heard by email from them earlier this week is that if they end up doing it, it may not be until next year--although later this year hasn't been ruled out. Maybe we need to deluge them with emails!

Make a PA1XX series that fits exactly the width of a 5&1/4" bay and I'm sold. I'm building my PA120.3 into a CM Stacker with custom brackets to mount the rad as a front intake system.

If you designed a rad that fit EXACTLY into a 5&1/4" bay I'd be all over it, it would save a hell of a lot of time designing & manufacturing custom brackets.

hmm, it'd be interesting if it came with the holes to mount it right in the drive bay. not really that big of a point though since you'd still need to cut the top of the case. and in most cases, you'd need to dremel off the bar at the top of the drive cage as well

I'd buy one. But then I hope MM would put out some cases built for it (and for PA rads in the back too.)

Hrmm, I can't help but resurrect this. If it happens, I'll order a custom MM 22" cube and buy 2.

Actually, I would be quite pissed off if a PA140.3 or PA140.4 was released. Because I just bought a PA120.3 and I would not be able to afford the PA140. So, it's a bad idea.

I've built at least ten rigs with PA160 rads and would definitely snatch up a half dozen of the 140.1 when they come available

I hope that "when" is accurate. I'm currnetly working on a 24" cube design I can send to MM for custom fab if these ever see daylight.
