    How low can prices go. The PC5300 3-3-3-12 are down to $74 now. I have 3 sets of these all running 500, 5-5-5-15 @ 2.15v. Damn cheap for DDR2 1000. Pretty soon they are going to be giving these away

    Hey Pare! This may go a bit higher than the 8000 but with less voltage. I think they can go really high but we are limited by our chipsets.

    why are the tracers 10 more ?


    and can anyone for the love of pete confirm what chips these latest batches are using ?

    Tracers appear to have the LED lights on the heatspreaders it looks like. everything else is the same?

    Those do have LED's.

    Ballistix Tracer memory features a black PCB, black integrated heat spreaders, and one or two rows of eight "chasing" red and green LEDs atop the module
    I'm not sure I want LED's on my RAM.

    Anyone got any OC results from these sticks?

    It must be a new chip in them, they dump them everywhere....I really need some OC results on these!
