I hope the commerically available sticks will go as good as that one there OPP

Not like the OCZ EL DDR thing which went like to 250 in the review and the one I am trying now will not even do 230 at the same board as they used ... in my IT7 its overclockability is between the Corsair 3200 and 3500. Nothing extraordinary as the review samples would suggest

Kingston doesn't play the "special game"
For all you gamers out there, go for it! Be brave. You will find Kingston's quality "premium" and the same across the board. I can't speak on behalf of other manufacturers out there, but I can promise that the samples that **** has received from Kingston are the same as those sent to Fry's Electronics and soon to be other retailers.

It would not do us any good if we were to send out special modules and have you gamers out there have problems or issues. We would lose our reputation big time.

    Happy Gaming!

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Very sweet OPP, thats just an amazing bench.

For that low of a Card overclock I think the Asus acually put out some power in the Benching. Iknow as fact that the memory was only running at 223Mhz 2-5-2 timings. The Asus might be a nice toy.

That is a Corsair XMS3200 C2 on an Asus P4B533-V. That is all I got from the owner of this benchmark. I'm not sure if its legit or not.

That is my friend's OC: Asus P4B533-V, Corsair XMS3200 C2.5, 2.85V, no mod at all. Timings are as what shown in the screenshot. CPU is a 1.6A @ 190x16. He has another screenshot at 191 or 192x16 but I can't find it atm. The score is 391x/391x IIRC.

That is what I found on a Chinese/Taiwanese HW site (can't remember the name atm) from one of their reviews. CPU is a 1800+ cooled with LN2. Mobo is EPox 8K5A2+. RAM is A-Data PC3200, Vdimm is 3.2V. Timings are 2-5-2-2.

Same results the OCZ EL DDR don't go past 228/230. Same as the Geil3200c2 or Corsair3200c2
Geil3500 and Corsair 3500 are better.

    JCviggen ,

You know that the samples for the OC prices review and in fact most OCZ product reviews were all purchased through retail I assume ?

Not every single stick is going to do DDR500 speeds though , not of any brand , never.

I would even go as far as to guess your comparing our 512 to a corsair 256. I could be wrong but 472 at 2-7-3-2 sounds good for a 512 PC-3500 to me .

The way I look at it, a DIMM should be able to run its rated speed @ the suggested timings, period. If it does that, I'd say its done its job. However, if there's other modules out there rated @ similar speeds yet perform better for a similar price, now which one do you think I'm going to buy?

I'm not partial to any memory mfr. I've owned Crucial, Samsung, & Corsair now as far as performance memory goes, & I'll buy OCZ someday too prolly if its the top dog

Be cool, ryanpgroovy, plenty of ppl love OCZ memory

Guys please DITCH the buffered scores as they PROVE NOTHING!! they scale with fsb and as such cannot be trusted.Just bench unbuffered and show how fast the ram really is.Also show a sceeny of memtest86 at startup as this shows an unbuffered test too.

I am a reseller and have been selling memory for sometime now. We use to sell Corsair memory but dumped it because OCZ just beats Corsair in top quality and performance. We didn't want our customers thinking they were getting the best when we knew something out there is better and usually less money. Ram is very important and we want our customers to have the best ram out there...period.
