vcore-mod found for asrock dual-sata pci-e/agp. need help.

This guy is just SO bad to explain..

Could a rather experienced person take a look and explain what exactly i have to solder together to get 1.55vcore when i select 1.15 in bios.

I would just be SO happy

Just connect Pin 28 (VID4) to Pin 31 (SGND) or only Pin 28 to Pin 29, because Pin 29 is already bridged to Pin 31.

Yeah if oyu got this mobo that forum is all you 're ever gonna need. Do the .0,25 volt, 5.6 Ω mod cause then you can have all bios vcores adding 0.25volts

I tried both mods I prefer the resistor mod as there is more voltage to give but I noticed that the L6711 IC gets very hot at 1.65 -1.700 vcore.
Does anyone know where i can get bananas like this the only ones I can get don't dance and go black after a few weeks

Has anyone found a way to get 1.5vcore out of conecting one of the Vid's to Sgnd's?

Also change you just use a #2 pencil to lower the resistants of this resistor instead of changing it http://www.ocworkbench.com/2005/asro...mmodguide2.htm

Have you tried the pencil mod, how easy was it to do just out of curiosity.

I didnt try a pencil I was more less asking if someone else had. It say's to replace the 2.1k ohm with a 150 ohm resistor so I was woundering if anyone had tried using a pencil to see if they could up the vddim by doing so. I would much rather have a adjustable vddim.

I dont want 1.55 vcore so I was hoping someone had found a way to get 1.5 connecting the Vid's to Sgnd's.

All the mods I have ever really done have been done via amd grabber's and I would like to either do these mod's without soldiering on the board or useing amd again.

    Any help would be great.

did you touch it or used a thermometer?
and how hot did it get? I have been debating the rebel's mod about this vcore regulator withstanding that high of vcore/current. the spec shows the highest setting is 1.55v, (1.575v if VID5=0). Overclocking w/ 1.65 vcore runs a lot of current through this regulator. how would heat and current affect it to run >1.575v?

No I did not use a thermometer but as it felt warm I just poped on a ramsink and thats it.
