Jezus this is simply awesome... I was happy when I got my rig to go below 40 secs PiFast (Winchester long long time ago)... this is just crazy

Well can't wait for another year where we dip into the 10 sec pifast and 5 secs superpi

That chip is rediculously fast... omg.

    Congrats to you Fugger.

Like you've said it has more room, and that's with vapochill cooling!
With better cooling the conroe chip would have the potential to get into the 9's in superPi. I see the light.

Did you see my siggie Fugger? you like?

How can be possible to do the exact same time with the same chip, but 3900 vs. 2334?

    coolaler's:

The only difference is coolaler's is B0 and FUGGER's is A1. FSB and Bus is higher for FUGGER, and multis are 6x vs 9x. Doesn't makes sense to me, am I losing something?

That's speedstep. In idle it automaticly lowers the multiplier. CPU-z is only opened after the bench so it's idle

Cos the equivalent of Cool n quiet kicked in. So while he ran superpi, it was going at 3.89ghz, multi of x10. Then, while messin round, dropped to x6.

The reason he beat him i imagine is that his timings were very tight - 3-2-2-1 (if they are correctly reported) is very nice, and should help a lot, versus whatever fugger ran.

    EDIT:

Thoroughly beaten in that race - sorry guys.

sorry if this was asked already but did coolaler overclock his cpu by ~1.3ghz with a vcore of just 1.27? (and fugger needed 1.5v for ~1.5ghz overclock)
i still cannot believe that the b0 stepping and 2.66ghz conroe overclock that well

btw your results are insane fugger!

looks like soon we are gonna need a new standard...

    8M maybe.

1M is begining to look like the 256k benchmark... alittle too easy for the Conroe

"The command and conquer model," said the EA CEO, "doesn't work. If you think you're going to buy a developer and put your name on the label... you're making a profound mistake."
