    earlier this morning i saw 13sec (which i thought was ), but now - i came back for a short brake - and what i see - a new WR RECORD!! 12sec!!!

    1.65v? Whats the temp spread? (ie any indication this is the max speed or not)

    Ive seen Presler chips take up past 1.8v so we should see over 4ghz perhaps?

    I'm wondering where the 300+ Mhz came from on the same cooling. This chip is truly phenomenal, Intel has made up for years of mediocre products in 2006. Sure will be nice to see if this chip/board combo can take some serious negative temperatures, get on it FUGGER

    He disabled the 2nd core for the extra boost, check the CPUz shots out

    Talk about a flexible chip. Need a 3D WR? Keep both cores enabled, need a SPI WR? Turn off one core and send the main one flying

    EDIT to FUGGER: Can you actually choose which core you want to disable, or where you just lucky the second was the worst? And have you tested yet how high your chipset wants to go?

    Seeing this results I guess we all may need a Core 2 DUO 6600 or higher if we don't want to be FSB-limited by the motherboard
