4.0 GHZ personal best with q6600!!

hey guys!!! i finally did it!

ive been trying of and on for 4.0 for the last couple years, then with my E6600,and a month ago, did a small upgrade to Q6600 (G0), hoping and trying for 4.0 (untill now, i could only get 3.9), so you could say this was a personal battle, and almost obsession, as evry time id try, play with the OC for an hour or two, id always end up frustrated.. swearing id buy whatever i needed, (new MB, different ram), or whatever i thought i needed....but never did. just kept trying now and again, fiddling with settings....THEN...

i finally did it! i broke 4.0 GHZ on my Q6600!!!! man, ive been trying for 2 years to hit the 4.0 ghz mark, and i just figured what the hell, ill try one more time right now......

i was suprised to see the bios post, then the boot into windows!!!! and here i am, posting this at over 4.0!

now, of course were not talking stability yet.... as i just booted in 3 minutes ago and took the screenies..... but im here, aint i?

heres a quick screenie.....and now im gonna celebrate with a left handed cigarette.....

and BTW, check out them temps, not too shabby, eh? i think ill relish the moment for a while, go fly my TREX 500E a bit, then come back and push er a bit further, ads im running vcore of 1.5, ill see if i can get the FSB up a bit higher, then bump up the voltage and go for 4.2......MuWAhaHaHaaa!!!!!

    and........ here she is.

    Loonym...You are missed.

    The element of one

    Breathe me in
    Breathe me in

I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
    there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation

Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.

I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.

Nice work, but some screen shots would be great

I remember getting 4.1GHz 1.536vcore on my Q6600 with P5E. Good times, done 4.976GHz on cascade, probably could do more if I had another go.
