PcCI2iminal; quick question for you! Is the retail Core Duo box heavy? Does it include a heatsink or just the CPU and manual? What else is inside the box?

And what sort of load/idle temperatures does the chip do under air cooling?

    Thanks,

    Suman

It's not an AMD that weighs 3 lbs. and comes with a HSF. The box, cpu and manual only weigh 4.3 oz. I thought I got the wrong thing before I opened the box.

just the box ,cpu and manuals

    very low

Core Duo or Core Solo seems to be the same
2600mhz @ air cooler box idle @ 28-30 vcore default for Core Duo and undervolt 4 Core Solo
Celly M @ 2600 needs vcore but still amazing and 22-24C

A 860$ (@ Newegg) server processor that can at best equal a mobile processor (soon to be had for 423$)?

If you want something special, wait till Core arrives.

So CpuZ is wrong and it's actually a Denmark (as in: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103582)?

Anyway, I couldn't buy either of them But an E6600 for 315$ is ok.

that T2600 is looking real nice, great clocks on air OP. saving FSB wall, Yonahs are consistently out overclocking the Opterons, and faster clock for clock.

Also 40c load on air at 3.06 Ghz, that's awesome.
