    realtek ac97 onboard only works on one side..

    Ok my brothers computer has a motherboard with realtek ac97 integrated sound. If i plug speakers into it i only get one working on the front port or back panel port. If i plug speakers into 2 ports on the back panel (4ch sound) the 2 rear speakers work but only 1 front one. Can nyone help me with this?

    Open the sound effect manager in control panel. You should be able to configure the type of speakers you have then plug them in accordingly.
