Mushkin banner competition

Heheh, finally I have finished my top-banner for Mushkin! I had made other designs, but I thought I would only post my best one. This one is a sort of abstract waves and stuff; I thought maybe Mushkin would want a nice futuristic, colourful design and something a bit of a "how did they do that?" effect :thumbsup:

Starting a few more....not sure if I'll finish in time, not really sure if I like all the ones I have on the drawing board now, so no biggie really :-/

Here's one for now:

I have, immediately available, "ENHANCED MEMORY" in both upper and lower case, and the text can be any level of transparency for this one. (well, with all of mine actually--like my others, I also have this in a PSD at 4x the resolution)

Here's the same concept with a smaller "mushkin" logo :


Also of note is the filesize and blending...even at full (4x) resolution (2048x540 through 2168x648, none break 200kb with pixel perfect accuracy [no use of JPEG compression and ensuing artifacts]), and blend seemlessly into a black background, like what Mushkin uses now (also ensuring color-choice compatibility between browsers and avoiding use of transparency).

made this on the second day after the contest started, im might submit another but $180 in system memory is dog scraps compared to what you would make if you got hired for a proffesional graphic design position. nice business move on mushkins part.

How should all of us have known that, that Mushkin is about to change their look, their page and so on! -.-
All of the banners here are in the "old Mushkin style" .... black background, green 'm', violett 'ushkin' and so on!
And now ... they change their whole look! .. Well done! -.-
