kayl, What refrigerant was used. I went through the topic but couldn't find any info on it.

They are superb temps and the Case looks great. Any pics of the front of the case mate. I love black cases, look the best IMO.

The cascade is all finished and leaves tomorrow finally, no leaks for weeks now so happy to send. Last night of benching I finally managed to add the vcore mod with the thinner wire and run 1.8v. this wire made the vmod a little easier, a mag lamp would have been handy though.
Seems that my E6600 at 4.1ghz is quiet a lot colder than 920D at 5.1gmz so cascade should handle any vcore and cpu.

    Results here, X6800 at 4.9ghz -97c load

It is going to be hot inside the case. Perhaps you should build an aircon unit to cool it

it will get hot inside for sure, there will be 3x 120mm fans at the back of the case sucking air out.

changed layout a little thanxs noob.

    thanxs before
Brazed the cascade up over the weekend, vacuumed both stages and charged first stage with r290 for now and second stage with a tad of r290 and the rest ethylene.
Fired it up last night and it ran fine. Nice little ice show, evap head sat at around -90c with 5psi low side for load handling and 200psi on second stages high side.
Static charge was around 150psi. I then shut everything down and let the ice melt. I finished the remaining insulation and attached the load tester and then started the first stage.
Once down to temp I started the second stage, then there was nothing. I reset the mains at my power board and tried again, same result. So I either have a dead second stage compressor or some electrical wires that havn’t been insulated properly damit. Ill Check that tonight and hopefully get some quad core benching. That or destroy the cascade and find another compressor. I really hope it’s the wiring or connection come loose.

i managed to get it going, it might have been the safy on my mains??
Didnt get much time to bench. so far idle around -80c and load with 1.84vcore -75c
best validation was 4583.99MHZ and with 1mB SPi run 11.45sec at 4452MHz.
I need to shorten both stages capillary lines and see if i can get some better temps.

thanxs Runmc , im ok and same with family & friends, the 2 cyclones were on my side of Australia but further up the coast, we had a massive heat wave around the same time 42c for a few days, but thats the worst it got. Actually yesterdays bench session in the shed was in 35-40c temps ran the casacade for around 4 hours

i put my pentium 4 925D in and managed 5.7 validation
    5.46GHZ 32m SPI run
    5.46ghz 1mb SPI @21.17328sec

Before i put the cpu in i put the cascade on the heatload tester, seems that vmoded 1.8vcore on QX6700 is alot hotter than 255w.
the 925 is hotter though than the QX6700, i had to drop vcore to 1.76v to get it stable at higher OC. this was still hotter than my quadcore which i find interesting.

-70c with the QX6700 with wprime and other applications.
-60c lowest seen so far on the 925D, shes really hot hey compared to Qx6700. I havnt run quad prime though and wont bother at these voltages dont want to kill any cpus/motherboards.
