    Nice tool -

    Just wondering, that it´s reporting 1.0 like the tweaker for the CAS, CPU-Z says 1.5, what is set in BIOS...

    Thank you for this! AMD has documented only 3 values:

    000b = reserved
    001b = CL=2
    010b = CL=3
    011b = reserved
    100b = reserved
    101b = CL=2.5
    110b = reserved
    111b = reserved

    I assumed that 000b maps to CL=1.0. I was wrong.

    It will be fixed in next release

    I dont see why you should do that.

    I like that it looks like the bios (less confusing).

    Wink Now all we need is a linux version

    Making a great tool like this just as I'm switching my 2 favorite machines to linux (J/K )

    I don't even know if or how you would do it but it would be VERY WONDERFUL

    Great, i think having the CPU info on the left means this beats A64 Tweaker.

    Detects my manchester perfectly, reads everything, changes all the right stuff.

    I'll be promoting this, bloody good job.

    A frequency, multiplier and voltage changer for NForce chipsets is available for Linux/amd64 from 2cpu.com.

    I am working on an A64Tweaker alike but don't expect to get anything done before AM2.

    Awesome!

    Don't know how hard this will be, but would it be difficult to add in a clockgen type thing? So we can all get rid of A64tweaker and clockgen for this

    This is a good tool. All it needs is a working load at startup function to beat A64Tweaker since that tool never got it right.

    EDIT: Would it be possible to create a "A64Info settings_file" shortcut and run that at startup?

    You could easily do that with a registry patch or a batch file.

    Thank you ppl for your support. I'll be off for a few days (orthodox easter). After that, A64Info will be updated as you suggested. NF4 support (changing clock) is planned but I'm lacking documentation. I'll see what can I do.

    alright I have a question. I'm a n00b overclocker and so far just been using the bios to set values. Looks as if this tool could get me more optimum clocks, but I'm wondering, how does it work? I mean, does the program have to load every time windows loads, so the OC using that won't be in effect until it loads, or does it somehow link into the bios and set stuff there?

    I'm just not sure if I'll need this running in the background or not all the time.

    Thanks in advance for helping out a n00b

    Just makes it easier to test different settings without rebooting all the time. Once you find settings that work you can put them in the bios

    Changes are not permanent. Once you reset your PC, all changes are lost. You can applay settings at Windows startup by cerating shortcut in Startup folder to A64Info.exe with settings file name as a parameter. Checkout FAQ section. It is not the most user friendly method, but it works. Fore example

    C:\Utils\A64Info.exe settings.set

    where settings.set is file saved from A64Info which resides in the same folder where A64Info is.
