One big thing:
I have kingston hyperX pc-7200 memory and on Asus p5wd2 Mobo i manage to achieve very easy 900mhz with 4.4.4.10 .But this Mobo"bad axe" have this situation :
you will have option to put the "fsb override frequency" on 1067mhz.Then set the "enhanced power slope" enabled, "host burn in mode percentage" on 1.Also you have option to set the memory speed:
333,400,533,667,800>There is no 900mhz.But you have option tu set the latency on 4.4.4.10.And this is it.Intel presler can run on this settings about 3700mhz with Hyperx memory on 800mhz(4.4.4.10)-that's about 1.100mb/s memory read.
If you want to achieve 900mhz on your memory you must set the memory option on "default"or "automatic"(can't remember),"fsb override frequency" on default and then set the "host burn in mode percentage" on 34 value. This is resulting memory speed 890mhz but with latency 5.5.5.15.Slow,very slow.Reason for this is:
when you set memory option on "default" you will lose option to change latency settings.
So,you can choose fast mhz with high latency or slower mhz with lower latency.

Right now I have the FSB set to 1333 (the actual 1333 option, not 1067+25%) and the RAM set to 667. You'd think it would give me a 1:1 ratio but it isn't happening that way - I'm getting the 4:5 ratio. Which is fine for now as my RAM ends up running at about 410MHz, it works fine, but to go any faster I would really like to find a way to kick that RAM ratio down a notch so I don't have to worry about RAM-induced problems.
