So, this is how it goes: Normal on screenies is 8/1 and Weak is 5/1. Now, after all those days of playing, I can say now that in my case fully stable 285MHz @ 2.58v (DMM) sings very well at DS/DDS of 8/1. I went Weak only when trying for 287MHz and it seems like it helped a bit after raising voltage to 2.7v.

Just make sure to download CPU-Z 1.33.1. With BIOS 406 and Odd Divisor Correct Enabled, you know what happens right? How is that option set in your BIOS?

Above 300MHz and on a divider you might have some trouble going below MAL 9ns. I can do 8ns, but definetely not lower than that.

BTW, 280Mhz is awesome Just make sure you're not on Odd Divisor Correct, like I mentioned above, please

bachus_anonym, thanks for the great reply! Here is what I have in BIOS:

    Odd Divisor Correct - DISABLED
DS - NORMAL4 <---That equals 8 from old BIOS correct?
    DDS - 1

There used to be a table some where that showed what Normal1-4 and Weakl1-4 equaled somewhere, I couldn't find it.

Here is a screenie using CPU-Z 1.33.1, I went back down to 280fsb to play with the DS and DDS:

That's interesting bachus, I cant boot with DS @ 8, that was the first one I tried. Hangs on post screen. Has alot to do w/ your cooling I suppose.

yeah i need mal 9ns to boot my infineon and at 200mhz i cant do 2-3-2 on a divider, ive got an opty with a weak mem controller though. i need to spend alot more time on drive strengths.

Got mine earlier today and I'm running 3D stable at 280mhz at the moment. I'll test more thouroughly when I have more time, but these sticks seem to be from a great batch. Finally 1:1 with tight timings. I'm stoked.

Thanks for the inside info bachus_anonym.

Very nice job Michael! I always love to read your testreport

I must say, that is very powerfull CE-5 Mushkin have there..almost 300Mhz 3-3-3-2-5! How do they react with 3.0volt? I guess not much since you use 2.54v (285Mhz) and 2.9v (295MHz)..

ps: What Heiniken is that? Seasonbottle?

I would like it if you guys also pointed out what PSUs were used.

This seems to be like some insane CE-5 there. Or perhaps the PCB plays a part here (if anyone wouldn't mind sharing)?

    @NinjaWreck and FlyBoyGeo,
I'm very happy that you guys are getting 280MHz 3D stable! Pretty awesome, isn't it?

I'm leaning towards same conclusion, actually. But I can't test on air, ATM...

Thanks and same about you, man! This batch is in fact very impressive As far as extra voltage - I could not get anything more than 295Mhz with up to 3.16v (DMM). Oh, and that 3L Heineken, I got about 3yrs ago and I haven't opened it yet. I'm not even sure if it's still any good, though

Well, believe it or not, my setup (Opteron146 @ 3.4-3.6Ghz, single 7800GTX, 2-4GB DDR, 3 drives and 3-5 fans) is powered up by 20-pin Fortron 530W (18A on 12v) w/o any adapters. It's been serving me for over a year now Under 3D load (depending on an app), my PC consumes 290-300W measured with a Kill-a-Watt meter.

Tom from Mushkin PM'd me stating he's discounting the Redline stix right now!
He wants to get these into the hands of the people that can make them fly. I'll ask him for a coupon code for direct sales if you guys want, or we can wait for the price adjustments to reflect at Newegg etc... That is of course if they decided to pass along the savings. From what he told me, Mushkin will be basically taking no profit in the next week or two, in an effort to increase exposure and brand awareness!

Sure, after I buy a pair at full price...

Anyway I'm getting similar 3D results of 285mhz max 3D stable. I've been running 24/7 280mhz (3-3-2-5) with no crashes after three days. These sticks seem to perform as well in 3D as the old BE-5, but with a much higher overclock.

Oh, I'm very happy with both my sets of Mushkin. With results like this they are well worth what I paid seeing I paid nearly as much for the BE-5 when it was first released. You can still send me something though...

    Tom-

Just sent you an email. It seems these are now off Newegg and your site is down for maintanence. Are these still for sale? After hearing all the glowing info on these I wanted to make sure I could get in on a set of these before they were gone. Hopefully a hand picked set.

    Thanks,
