exactly raptor... the 12.90s are old drivers now ...... however some rigs might do better on them .....i personally like the 27.70 or the 29.40s geforce 3 should be ok on 27.70

Hehhe its rather old guide and 12.90s were the best that time
For GF3 try 22.80, 27.42 or 23.11 or some 29.xx drivers.
I agree! The 27.70 gave me a huge gain in performance, both in games and 3D M2001se. I also heard great things about the 29.40's. Might give them a try!Originally posted by majormav

Hardass, I would install either the 27.70, 29.40, or 29.42's
I,m a rookie, should have known what he was saying. I have the 29.40 already. Thanks.Originally posted by majormav

I use 22.80 drivers w my Ti 200 & AMD.
I know what you mean; I used the 22.80 for the longest time! A very solid video driver.
I don,t have enough experiance to do all the os tweaking and don,t know what a swap file is. But have done everything else i guess. Last score was 7621 still testing.Originally posted by AndrOvr

You won't see me on the front page w/ the Ti4600's...but I think I can hang around in the top of the Ti4200 class.
No major accomplishment...but there are over 2000 Ti4200's on there...and being 8th so far is not so bad.
I'm currently working on some OS tweaks(thx MrIcee). Should pick up a few points there.
New 4200 coming within the next week or two also...this thing don't oc for chit

Glad to be here
I'm going to give 3Dmark another shot in the morning, I just put a bucket of water in the freezer for tomorrow
I dont expect any real score improvement cos my card is still going to be running only 378/796 , and I dont have good core contact so 185x17 will have to do. Still i'm gonna give it a shot anyway. After that try to finally get this thing on my CPU properly... if i could do 190x17 i'd be in business
hehee... the gang is all together now!!!
As for the other question, i still think for GF3, the 23.11 are still the best drivers... but that's with me!

I used the 23.11 for some time, but when I benched w 28.80 it gave me 20/30 marks better, so..
