Need help with a new pc.

2nd pc will go into a custom built wood case.
Main pc will be a new one. I haven't paid much attention to new cpus and motherboards and video cards for a year and a half, so I don't know what to get but did come up with a idea for a new pc.

    New pc:
    a64 x2 4400
    dfi lp ut sli-dr expert
    1 or 2 7900 gtx
    g.skill 2x1gb hx pc3200
    pc p&c 510w
    xmystique 7.1
    80gig maxtor sata
    2x250gig maxtor sata
    plextor px-716sa/sw sata
    42" westinghouse 1080p lcd tv/monitor

I'm also looking for a OTA hdtv tuner/capture card. No ati please.
And also, do they make bluetooth mouse and keyboard anymore? I have the logitech mx900 bluetooth mouse but can't find anyplace that sells it anymore.

Also, I am already starting on getting the drivers for the new hardware. For the nf4 motherboard that I want, what drivers should I get from nvidia's site? There are about 6 different sets of nf4 drivers. I don't know what to download.

And finally, I want to try the x64 edition of XP. Is it worth it? I'll have all the drivers ready for it. If I use it, will I still be able to play most older games?

    tia.

Hauppauge Tuner card, it's the best.
There is a delay on the signal, very little (ms), to take some of the work from the CPU, giving less noise (signal).
Clear picture, of course depending on the quality of what you recieve.
There are several models, I have the 250, with one tuner. The 500 has two tuners, so you can record and watch TV at the same time.

For the tuner card, I want a hdtv tuner.
So I was wondering if anyone here has used one and could tell me what they think of it.

I've seen a lot of 3rd party-grade ones and a few high-quality ones... definitely a difference. That being said, IMO they all still have output that looks like ... but that being said, I have only seen them tested on really large, expensive TV's that are usually run off $500 cabling and $2000 receivers. For regular home use, a higher-end one would probably look just fine.

    Well I'll have a 42" 1080p tv/monitor. DVI connection.
I thought someone here would have a hdtv tuner and could recommend one, other than the ati one.

What about the pc? Would a 510 watt power supply be enough for 2 7900s, 3 hard drives and a dvdrw?

I sincerely hope you don't plan on using that as a 24/7 computer monitor and just mean television monitor.

it will be both a tv and a pc monitor.
and I don't sit in front of my pc 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Maybe 3 or 4 hours a day, not all in a row.

"Once you have that large display area, you'll never go back, because it has a direct impact on productivity." - quote from that Bill Gates article.

Of course I won't be sitting 3 feet away from the monitor. I'll be 10-15 feet back
