    New beta bios for DFI Expert/Venus mb!!!!!

    Hi!!
    on DFI_beta site/Dfi-street_forum there is a new beta bios for this mb !!!
    Please try it and give your opinion....thanks

    1. Add CPU temperature calibration option.
    2 . Fix S1/S3 temp error after resume.
    3 . Fix startup VID option fail.
    4 . Fix C 'n' Q .5 multiplier not working with opteron CPU.
    5 . Fix day of month alarm can not set as 0 for every day usage.
    6 . Fix ATI X1000 series logo error

    Awesome a VENUS specific thread....

    OT: Which slots are for which memory on the Venus, ie what color slot does TCCD, ce-5, etc. go into for best performance?

    only the zip file is ok for now.... the .exe is corrupt yet!

    Just flashed with .exe and its fine mate. Ill see how it goes and see whats improved. Be good if it helps with TCCD sticks altho i doubt it.

    ps i hope they have fixed also the bad ethernet bugs on the mb!!

    Well had a quick play in the Bios and The Temp Adjustment is good. I mean we all know how OFF it can be with Temps.

    Now u can adjust from -10 to +10 on the CPU Temps.

    Bios are interchangeable between Expert and Venus, contrary to what DFI would have ppl believe
    lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's
