When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

^^ Babe, you make me feel like dancing!!!!

GoriLLakos, when 2 block are same chip, howcome the specs are THAT different?? - WHen I compare them to the other ones, it seems like they suck, but they'll probaly do the same as supertalent 2GB D9 kit?? Right?

Just a heads up "fat body d9" isnt a very descriptive way to talk about the chips. For starters D9 got its name for the fBGA code that Micron uses.

Its a common mistake but d9 is what *all* Micron fBGA codes start with. In addition there are 2 different types of what you guys call 'fat-body'. One type clocks very very high the other doesnt do 900mhz @ 2.5v.

The chips people are crazed about are called Micron BT-3 otherwise known as Micron D9DQT which was used in the mushkin 6400 and corsair 6400,5300 etc etc. The second lesser set which you find in patriot, buffalo, centon sticks is another chip called Micron BT-37E which is the 533 binned part and not the 667 (ie failed bt-3)

    Thnaks sentential for the infos..

where you have written 2kind of chips you mean that the module maybe have the one or the other???
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

Its Micron's next-gen 80nm die. Its a hybrid of the CB series and the BT series. Not quite as good as BT-3 but its close enough for hand grenades and my wallet

I dont have B6 yet since they are new but yes ive owned several sets of BT-3. BT is still a better chip, its going to take quite awhile before it will be wholly useless.

    Very nice tread
