PC2-4200. Apparently they are Micron chips, and seem to clock pretty well.
They're also inexpensive.

I know that Corsair put Micron D9 chips in some of its Value Select memory for laptops. But those chips had the Micron markings on them.
There's nothing to confirm whether those screenshots of that website are legit or not. So you're talking a gamble if you buy based on those results. Though it's a gamble that might pay off.

It should be noted that there are different types of Micron D9 chips. There are the legendary "Fat Body" D9's, also known as D9DQT. I believe they are not produced anymore.
D9GMH - Used in Corsair 8500 and TeamGroup PC2-6400. Micron sells them as 333MHz chips, but they are capable of high clocks.
D9GKX - Found in Super Talent PC2-800

So when someone mentions "Micron D9", it doesn't necessarily mean "Fat Body". The newer Micron D9's are square-shaped like the Elpida's.
There are other RAM makers that use these chips, so forgive me if I didn't mention all of them.

Well I believe there is a "D9DQW" (5IAll or 5JAll) is slightly better than DQT
Some versions of Corsair 5400UL use D9DQW or MT47H64M8BT-37E. The same chips are used in Centon PC2-6400. They're also found in Corsair 5400C4 v5.2 which is what some of the Japanese use.
This was done by Cal930 using 5400C4 v5.2
I suppose D9DQW could also be considered "Fat Body". The older rectangular-shaped D9's are arguably the best.

Yes, there are various D9 chips. I showed some of the others in an earlier post. D9DCN is not the so-called "Fat Body".
I'm thinking D9DQ? is fatbody chips while the others are different revisions.
I'm just wondering how different each revision clocks.
So far we have
D9DQT
D9DQW
D9DCN
D9GMH
D9GKX
The older rectagular-shaped D9's like D9DQT and D9DQW tend to be the best overclockers. D9GMH generally offers more bang for the buck because it's rated at 333MHz and is cheaper, but still capable of very high speeds.

Its very annoying that everyone calls the old school Micron BT-3 "D9". D9 is the DDR2 fBGA tag that means it is Micron DDR2, that is all.
The chips you guys are looking for are Micron BT-3 (the good stuff) and Micron BT-37E (de-binned good stuff).
Also congrats on finding a set of the D9GMH. That is the "new" RAM to watch. While its fBGA code is D9GMH its TRUE name is the fabled Micron B6-3

I found some elpida chips on Kingston 1GB module 667mhz...they can do 450+ with 5-5-5
I am also testing a pair of G.Skill 8000 4-4-4-5 and a pair og mushkin XP6400 2x1gb and they seem very good so far for 1gb sticks...

That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.

Me getting a DDR2 board in couple of days mostly...will try testing the Ram on it,will post results accordingly.
What I wanna know is WHAT CHIPS ARE ON CORSAIR'S PC2 6400 C3 modules. They simply are the most incredible DDR2 I've seen to date......2x1gb @ 430+mhz 3-3-3-x

Add D9DCL to the list as well, found on some Crucial RAM. Don't know how they clock though.
