    Prometeia = copycat vapochill

    this was taken from H 2/6/03

    Bit Tech has reviewed the Prometeia, a copycat VapoChill-like system
    umm, ok... What makes it a copycat? Vapochill was not the first phasechange cooler ever made, does that make them copycats?

    I guess the language he chooses is reflected in who is padding his wallet.

    i didn't beleive it at first,
    i checked, and its still there!
    Prometeia Review:
    Bit Tech has reviewed the Prometeia, a copycat VapoChill-like system. The fellas got some decent results out of the unit, but came to an interesting conclusion.

    All in all it's tough to choose between the two in terms of performance and case quality. If you're looking for an extreme cooling solution with quality feel I'd choose VapoChill over Prometeia, it'll perform almost as well, boot faster, take up less space in your life, not break your back if you want to move it and look better on your desk.

    Personally I have only had the opportunity to mess around with a Prometeia once, and the style and layout didn’t impress me much but I will reserve comments about the performance until I actually get my hands on a unit to test.
    i am not a fan of either system,
    but that was pathetic and hilarious at the same time...

    Remind me to check with this clown before I buy any new hardware....He even admitted that he only fooled around with the prommie once....The problem is that anyone who can get online can submit a review, it's up to the site to control the quality.
    I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

    How do you review something without getting yor hands on it?Doesn't doing a review imply experience with the product?
    I hope you guys remember me ! It has been a while!

    I read that also, and I don't agree with how that was said either...

    I did enjoy reading the review though.

    Yes and no, they quit making the Super G's and cancelled plans for the Super G2's but KyroTech still makes phase change cooled products, they are mostly for industrial apps though I think.
